Dr. Warren Altwerger performs medical, orthopedic, therapeutic, and surgical treatment of the foot and ankle. His patients range in age from infants to seniors. Dr. Warren Altwerger performs in office foot surgery under local anesthesia for selected procedures.
Multiple techniques to afford relief of painful foot and ankle symptoms are available without surgery. Treatment for peripheral Neuropathy (numbness, tingling, and burning) is available.
In office wound care available for slow and non healing wounds/ulcers in Diabetic and Non-Diabetics and those with poor circulation. Referral to local wound care centers when necessary.
Dr. Altwerger participates in the Diabetic Shoe program sponsored by Medicare and other insurance carriers.
Custom and specialty orthotics are not only for athletes, but for those with joint disease like arthritis. They are also very effective for Plantar Fasciitis (arch and heel pain) and Heel Spurs. Knee, hip, and back discomfort can sometimes be relieved with orthotics.
